Tree Volunteers Winter Band of Hope Canine Therapy PSC

PSC communities are always working closely with the community and volunteers to bring special events, activities, field trips  and occassions to the children. Here is a just a sneak peak at a few of the most recent happenings around our communities:

  • Three students from Geneva College completed a “culture care project” with our residents. They created a tree and had each resident make a leaf to place on the tree! The girls did a great job, and interacted wonderfully with our kiddos.
  • Tucker” a dog from Therapy Dogs International visited all of the residents! He enjoyed all of the love and attention from our kids. He even made himself at home and cuddled up in some of the residents’ beds.
  • The Hopewell Middle School Band of Hope visited for a Thanksgiving performance! They did a great job, and ended with the song “Eye of the Tiger” to pump everyone up for the holidays!
