Respiratory Case Study

Category: General

A 1 year old boy was at born at 37 weeks gestation with a history of Penatology of Cantrell, chronic lung disease, and an omphalocele containing multiple organs, including his heart. This young child was very fragile at the time of his PSC admission. He was traceostomy and ventilator dependent. He made exceptional progress since admission, ambulating, weaning off of the ventilator and attending off grounds school. We look forward to his continued success and the possibility of home reunification.
