PSC Students attend “Night to Shine” prom

Category: General
“Night to Shine”, sponsored by the Tim Tebow foundation, is an unforgettable prom night experience for people with special needs. As part of this worldwide movement, more than 375 churches, 150, 000 volunteers in 50 states and 10 countries came together to celebrate more than 75,000 honored guests with special needs, ages 14 and older. The guests arrived and were crowned kings and queens. They received a boutonniere or corsage, and walked “the red carpet”, welcomed by a team of volunteer “fans” cheering them on. Each guest was paired with a “buddy” that spent the night with them, escorting them to the different areas within the prom. They had pictures taken, and framed, as a keepsake to take home.  Other fun activities included a photo booth, a limo ride, getting their shoes shined, hair and make-up, visits with therapy dogs, lots of delicious food, and dancing the night away!! It really was a night to remember by all!! So many smiles! These kids/adults had the time of their lives! PSC was proud to be a part of such as memorable event. A special thank you to the PSC staff and others that made it possble!
