Field trip to Bucks County Children’s Museum

Category: General

Pt Pleasant Field trip CollagePSC Point Pleasant took a fall field trip to the Bucks County Children’s Museum where they spent the afternoon exploring age appropriate sensory experiences. PSC children enjoyed exploratory play in a new environment to work on their fine and gross motor skills. They maneuvered across the room from activity to activity with guided support. The museum included wind tunnels with scarves,  a wind experiment where wind kept a plastic ball balanced in the air, a tactile life-sized wall donkey puzzle with pieces made out of various materials (grass, carpet, marbles, sandpaper, wood), a jungle gym with a life-size lite bright board and colorful pegs, a slide, musical bongos made out of wooden flower stems, and a digging station complete with dirt wood chips and brushes and shovels to uncover dinosaur bones.
