Triumph over Trauma – a Case Study

Category: General

A 19 year old female was admitted to one of our PSC communities from a local hospital. She was hit by a car, suffered bilateral pelvic fractures, unable to bare weight on both lower extremities. She remained with PSC for a month. The Physical therapy team got her to weight baring status. She was transferred to a rehabilitation facility, and then successfully discharged home in 4 weeks. We are proud to have been a part of this brave and determined young woman’s triumph over trauma.
